Tais comes from a competitive ballroom dance background and has been partner dancing since the age of five. Originally from Ukraine, she moved to the Bay Area 10 years ago and continues to travel regularly for dance competitions and workshops. A highly accomplished dancer, she has been a U.S. national finalist and a top competitor for several years. She has also been recognized as a Top Thumbtack Pro for both 2023 and 2024.
With experience working with a wide range of students—from young children to older adults with physical challenges—Tais brings a well-rounded approach to teaching. She has a deep love for salsa and bachata, as well as ballroom and Latin styles such as waltz, tango, and cha-cha. Wedding dance holds a special place in her heart, as it allows her to share her extensive technical knowledge with couples looking to create a polished, meaningful first dance.
Tais’ teaching style is highly organized and direct while remaining warm and compassionate. She is known for crafting structured lesson plans tailored to each couple’s unique style, goals, and timeline—ensuring their first dance is both elegant and authentically them.
Brian fell in love with the performing arts through his time in theater, which eventually led him to study ballroom dance under top master coaches in San Francisco. With six years of teaching experience, he has spent the last three perfecting his wedding dance expertise at the city’s leading wedding dance studio. (s)
